Milwaukee WI Steel player

Hey folks... A friend of mine has an upcoming project that I am not available for but he's looking for someone who plays pedal steel. He's a fulltime working musician and has several things going. I asked about this project and I quote: 1965-1985 country. Ronnie Millsap Kenny Rogers George Jones Dol...

Just so you know... There is NO direct upgrade path from XP to Win7/8. It will require a clean install. As others have said, older hardware with newer OS don't generally make good bed-fellows. I personally have a different opinion about Windoze... I HATE XP. I think it's one of their worst since 98/...

Geek squad folks are "certified" by an internal BB program and nothing recognized.. Basic PC training class is called A+ certification. You can find plenty of books at a store or things online to help you out if you wish to learn the basics. FYI, some of the stuff is "out of date"...

I agree with Richard's assessment of Seagate drives only when the drives were End-User class... Enterprise class drives are phenominal... That said, I have also had the same number of issues with WD drives as well. I suggest getting an enclosure and then buying your own drive(s). This way, if there ...

More than likely, yes. However, Windows Update should have those drivers though it's generally considered to be better to get them from the manufacturer, in this instance- Dell.

First off... 3gb of RAM is really not a lot. How can you find out? To be technical, if you load up Perfmon (Performance Monitor) and look at pagefile usage keys, you shouldn't have more than 10 to 20% usage especially if the system default of 1.5x the amount of physical memory is set. If you have a ...

Win XP Pro 32-bit can only use a maximum of 4GB of memory where as the 64-bit counterpart can use up to 8GB of memory. Which, in turn can be repres...

I'd be very leary about your hard drive... Windows diagnostics are terrible in detecting drive faults. If you have a bad drive, pray it fails while under warranty... I'd also be cautious about saving anything on that drive until it's been determined to be good.
