I run 2 cables from my volume pedal 1 to each amp. if you volume pedal doesn't have 2 outs on it radio Shack has an adapter that plugs in to your 1 output and gives you two outputs I used that before I had a pedal with 2 outs and it worked good. I just tried plugging my guitar
(GFI s-12) straight into my vegas 400
and the volume pedal and analog delay into the effects loop and it is the best that the GFI has ever sounded and the Vegas 400 too for that matter.

Thanks for the tip It is amazing that an old dog can still learn new tricks.
