IMHO it's worth the extra for the Gotoh, Lee backlash than cheaper tuners of this type.

Mine is a 50 with that big nickle plated cover incorporating the bridge saddle. I'm reading 20K or so measured at the jack, but it was rewound by Jason Lollar maybe 15 years ago. Despite appearances it is actually a humbucker with 2 coils for 3 of the strings side by side. Mostly open space under th...

I would be running it through an preamp pedal, but Including an active onboard preamp is not a bad idea. I found many people saying piezos don't work well without a preamp, and many people claiming they can be made to work just fine. All claim to be authorities on the matter. I guess it might be th...

I would suspect that Piezo will not work well without a preamp, particularly when blended with a magnetic pickup.
When I built my Quasi acoustic Telecaster with a rope type piezo bridge, I fitted a cheap acoustic preamp and then fed it to a 5 way blade switch to combine it with the magnetic pickups.

There are usb to 9v conversion cables which would allow you to use a power bank for the reverb pedal, but make sure you get it with centre negative.

Yes routing a couple of grooves across the crack 3/4 of the way thru and gluing in some timber strips would be how I would fix it.

The 500ma is the maximum that the power supply can provide. The pedals will only draw what they need. It will not damage them.

The problem with a (highly differentiated)stereo mix in a live situation is that most of the audience will not be in a nice centered location to appreciate it. If they are close to the right speaker they are only going to hear half. I love stereo effects in my studio with headphones.

Scale length has never made a difference to me when slanting the bar. It's the string spacing. Closer string spacing makes slants easier. That's strange, wider string spacing (at the nut) actually reduces the required slant angle. The contemplation of bar angle is irrelevant. In case you haven't no...

WHY do you think the guitar needs humidifying?
Has it been stored in a low humidity situation?
Is it showing cracks or other distress?

Being stored without strings does not do any damage or lead to the need for humidifying unless it is in a very dry location.

It's NOT an issue.
That guy was misinforming you, perhaps deliberately.
Don't overhumidify, just string it up. adjust the truss rod if necessary and go for it

You may be better with a stand alone system rather than going through the guitar amp.
Perhaps just use the 1/8 output on the laptop into computer sub and satelite speakers, or (more expensive) into powered studio monitors.

In general, rattling in a nut slot indicates the need to file a greater angle down to the tuner post. A standard nut file will do it but may shorten the file's life.

First thing to check is it on the open string or when bar is used?
When the bar is laid across all the strings? is it ok if you just bar the single 6th string?

Open G tuning strings would normally be larger than C6

First things would be checking are the cathode resistors and bypass caps. A short or low value in these would cause excessive current draw and damage.
