Post by Mark Helm »

Folks:

Check this out: https://reverb.com/item/62618750-ricken ... eel-10watt !

I've NEVER seen a Rick B-6 Badged under the name "Selmer" in the U.K.

Anybody know anything about this?!

Thanks 😊

I wonder if it has the same heritage as the Premiervox steels & guitars, which were assembled in the UK mostly from parts supplied by Rickenbacker. The presence of real frets and a separate nut suggest this was not assembled by Rickenbacker, but other parts may have come from them.

Is that a Ric Spanish body and a Hawaiian neck?

Looks like a spanish Ric body with that bridge placement. Neck looks like a timber squareneck no flutes in the back like a ricky bakelite
