My MSA Classic, #1C5126 was dated bty David Wright as 1 April '76. This one can't ne much later. Maybe David will chime in here. I've seen these signatures discussed in other threads on the SGF, and I would guess that the signature is "by any stretch, legit." Do a forum search on this. p.s...

Thanks to Tom Bradshaw.

That's a good deal! I had bought a full set from Tom Bradshaw in the 90s, but two have become water damaged and one is misplaced. I just completed my order for a new set.

Thanks.

The pedal is set up so when I scroll up or down with the +/- buttons, it only cycles through three settings; E9, C6, & equal temperament. It's a lot faster and more fool proof than scrolling through modes on the Stroboplus hd. Brett, On the Stroboplus HD, the sweeteners you use most are at the ...

I take them all off and do some cleaning and maintenance. I reinstall 1 through 5 and then 10 through 6. My choice of oil is 3-in-1. Here's a good YouTube video for the cleaning and maintenance you can do with the strings off:

I have a Steeler's Choice with sidecar, back-rest and power-strip. I only play at home now, so I prefer to use an unattached power strip. Makes it easier when I have to move the seat around. When I did play out, I found it very useful, and so did other band members :D . You didn't ask about the side...

Thanks Guy. This is a fun piece for uke. And on the Baritone uke, the tab goes full circle back to G (but not the notation of course.)

The "Foundations" course is perfect for beginners and as a review for more experienced players. It costs $100 for a year and is an E9 course. He doesn't teach specific songs like Jeff Newman's Woodshed Workshops, although the Foundations course does include a couple of chord-melody version...

Digging this the most. Really good steel playing, in my opinion. Beginning a long phrase with a theme (@ 55 min.) that calls to mind 'she left me crying in the chapel'--don't know if that really came to mind, but your themes evoke ones from my past. It's a road trip. For me it evokes Leonard Cohen'...

I just play at home. Mostly with a headset. I've used both ways of tuning, and don't hear much difference. The Jeff Newman sweeteners in my Peterson Strobo HD do sound slightly better (less beating on chords) and are just as easy to use (SE9 for open strings and SP9 for pedals and levers), so I do -...
