I agree with bOb. Let's talk about how easy it to play and how good it sounds. It certainly is worth the effort and, from my experience, 20 - 30 minutes a day and staying with it accomplishes miracles (just like most instruments). My son's have played clarinet and violin. Do yourself a favor and check out Native Instrument's Maschine. It is a great drum "machine" but can also do pads, bass, etc. You'll need a laptop but if you have one its the best.
