Mike Cass contact info

It looks like the phone # on Mike's website is no longer good. Anyone have current contact info for him? I have an Emmons P/P in need of some work.
Thanks!

Where can I find one of these amps? A google search didn’t turn up anything other than old listings.

Donny - I don’t think my technique has changed and I didn’t have the problem prior to a couple months ago. I’m using SIT Buddy Emmons (nickel plated) strings and a BJS bar. Bobby - I play a Mullen RP, which has the black anodized rollers. Other than changing strings, no work has been done to the gui...

String noise

For the past couple of months, I've been noticing a lot of extraneous string noise from the unpicked strings which I could swear wasn't there before. It's definitely more pronounced with the wound strings 8,9,10. Lowering the pre-gain on my P112 helps a little but still very noticeable at higher vol...

Y’all are killing me! I somehow managed to miss Randy’s set. I don’t know what happened but I got the time wrong or something. Hopefully he’ll be back next year.

Great to meet you, Buck and your seminar will provide me with years of material to work on. And thanks for inspiring me to try the C6 neck. Your version of Scrapple from the Apple in your Saturday set was amazing and really showed what the instrument is capable of. Already looking forward to next ye...

John played some tasty steel with Redd Volkaert, the Tele-master. What a fantastic set of classic country on Saturday. There was a young man whose name I forget who played stellar steel on his Emmons P/P with the Malpass Brothers. I had never heard of these fine young fellas and I look forward to he...

Thanks Dawn. I was going to post an update but you beat me to it and did a much better job than I could have. And thanks again for helping me resolve my issue! Also, I didn’t mean to open the proverbial can of worms here with my post that apparently caused so much confusion. I was simply confused ...

For those interested, here's a video that Dawn at Jackson sent me that does indeed cover my issue but is still over my head: https://youtu.be/V52h4BVeuU0. I just don't feel comfortable messing around with it as I'd probably make it worse. Also, forgot to mention (since I haven't been using the RR (D...

Thanks, Roger. They're about 2 hours from me. I called them and they said I'd have to leave it and turnaround would be 1-2 weeks. Still better than shipping it back to Jackson.

Pedal Steel repairs in Florida?

Having given up on trying to remedy the problems with my Jackson Maverick HD, I'd like to find someone who is familiar with these pull-release instruments, to help me out. Is there anyone in Florida, within 3-4 hours driving distance (from Vero Beach) who works on PSGs? I really want to avoid having...

Collings D2H 2007 - SOLD

Excellent condition. Collings makes guitars that are incredibly consistent from one to the next, so if you've played a standard D2H, you know what this sounds like: a tight and powerful low end; clear, cutting midrange and sparkling highs, optimally balanced and magnificently projected. It's had an ...

Thanks, Ian. While I'm sure what you suggested makes perfect sense to you, with my level of knowledge and experience, I would probably make it worse if I attempted to mess around with it. I did finally hear back from Dawn @ Jackson and she's sending me a video that supposedly addresses my very probl...
