So sorry to hear about Larry's passing. We knew each other well as he and Del Reeve's entire band used to live in the same rooming house on Boscobel street. My condolences go out to his family.

I was sorry to hear about Harvey's guitar having been stolen. I first met him in New York City during the Gram Parsons tour in 1973 and got to spend some time with him when he later visited Nashville. I hope that he gets back to playing steel again.

I just heard of this from Lou's son, Jeff and was saddened by the news. My condolences go out to the entire Giroux family. I can recall how happy he was when he phoned me just prior to the convention and told me that his doctor had given him a clean bill of health and how he had one more chemo session left which he hoped could take place after Saint Louis...

I first met Wayne when Scotty introduced us at the Hall Of Fame Motor Inn in Nashville back in 1984. He has been a very dear friend to me and his love for and devotion to the steel guitar and it's many players is unsurpassed. He is most deserving of this award.

How very sad that another great icon of the steel guitar has passed away. Tom was one of the nicest human beings one could ever hope to meet. My condolences go out to Rolene and the entire family.
