My deepest sincere condolences to Sandra, Michael, and the Scott family. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Scotty's books are a good part of the reason I know as much about PSG as I do now. I will miss him.

I'm very sad to hear about Scotty's passing. In 2003, I went to the International Steel Guitar Convention for the first time and had the opportunity to meet him. He was a great friend, great steel player, and great musician. RIP Scotty, you will be missed

I met Scotty at the Gulfport, Mississippi, show last year. I found him both friendly and engaging. I wish I'd had the opportunity to get to know him sooner and better.

Sincere condolences to the family, and thanks for all you've done to promote this wonderful instrument.

I'm so very sorry to hear this Sandra. He did so much to bring us together, and I remember him being very nice to me on a personal level every time I encountered him. I am so glad that I had a few chances to meet and speak with him over the last few years. This is a very sad day.
