Most any pulley will work from a volume pedal as every pedal that uses a pot will have the same diameter shaft- contact Kevin at Goodrich.

Also- it has been my experience that the thumb picks by ProPik produce the brightest wound string tone of all that I've tried.

Whew- talk about a bit of a setback! So sorry Mark. One thing to do is to replace the return springs on the pedals that lower to enable you to activate the changes more easily. The stock springs that Fender used on the cable model guitars are waaaaay stronger than they needed to be and the guitar ca...

You don't say that kind of guitar it is however if you move the pull rods further way from the body on the bellcranks an equal amount it will shorten the throw.

Donny is correct - when the power supply is inserted the battery is disconnected. If you leave the instrument cable plugged in to the input w/o the power cable plugged in- you have roughly 1,000 hours until the battery drops below 8.5 volts. The active part basically allows a small pre-amp in the pe...

I might not be understanding in all of this but I thought that the initial thread was about the length of the legs- and they are generally adjustable so I'm not understanding the problem. If the the screw that has come out is a neck screw- forget about it- just can't tell by the pics. You should be ...

In my case, it is way easier to sell an SD12 than a D12. In any case- it is the owner's prerogative- many more double necks than SD's out there and if a guy want's an SD and already has a D10 that he likes but doesn't play the back neck- why not? The D10 or SD10/12 allows the knee levers to be close...

I'm thinking those were marketed by Montgomery Ward and everyone I've seen sounds great! I use 3 of the pedal mechanisms for knee levers when modifying them and they were E9.

One thing to keep in mind w a pull release- it has been my experience that you do not want to put any bends in the rods as that causes tuning issues- esp in rods that will be on lowers.

It has been my experience that the roller axle size also plays a role here w the smaller axles having less friction due to the more limited contact area w the rollers themselves.

In general- the only threaded rods in later Excels are under the cross shaft- as there is basically no access and they use Delrin keepers. On top of the cross shafts it has been my experience that they are all trapped by a set screw in the end like Ross says.

Yup-(as in hard yes). I've done it for 50 years and have never wanted for it to be different. I plug in the amp and power supplies (vocal harmonizer, B9 and Pitch Fork all on side of seat as well as power for the volume pedal). One power cord.

Great fix! Also- for future reference, when I see this happen and adjusting the tuning nuts doesn't help, I'll temporarily disconnect the raise helper spring if the guitar has one(I see you have raise helpers) as they can cause the same issue.
