Sad to hear. "No Pedal Steels Allowed". I am very active with a upbeat country group. We play Country only. I put Steel in songs that don't have Steel in them. I can make it fit very well, even at 175 beats per minute. Will be 70 next month and nothing holding me back... GOOD LORD WILLING!...

I purchased his course when it first came out. I needed some C6 help. Highly recommend. Great for E9th players too. I paid for the 1 year course. Sure wish it was around 45 years ago!!!

In my 70th year now. I started the journey 41 years ago. I am still active. I can tell you one thing to understand, is that a Pedal Steel is a machine. What I mean, if you understand basic music theory, you will find that when you use the floor pedals and knee levers they are related to what ever fr...

70 this year and still active. I still have a good ear for being in tune. Been playing Steel for 41 years. I have noticed that my ears are more sensitive to loudness. If volume gets to loud on stage my hearing starts to distort. Costed me a new speaker for my NV 112. I found out I wasted my money!!!...

Sho Bud Super Pro Question

Has anyone found a way to change the pressure that it takes to depress pedals? Having some medical issues with my left foot. Trying to make it easier to push the pedals. Mostly my A and B pedals. Maybe some kind of spring assist? Sho Bud Super Pro undercarriage.

I followed him on YouTube for years. Loved his playing!!! I went to Ireland in 2009 to do some work for a new Nashville recording artist. David was going to loan me a Steel amp over there If I needed it. I miss David and John Stonard. They both made some great videos.

I play some C6 myself, not a lot, but I explore and use it as much as possible. I take songs that I normally do in E9th and convert them to play on the C6 neck. I am fascinated with the tone and the tuning. I have not used any tab. I play it by ear.
