Reece Anderson's Last E-Mail To Me

Guitar Package

Everything is just like it came from the factory. I think those are humbucking pickups.I'll see if I can get my wife to get some close up pictures. She said it had 14 holes in those little hangy down things.

Bob, You are right about most people not knowing where Kannapolis is but I'll bet you and most people on the Forum have washed and dried themselves with towels and washcloths that were made here. Before Charlie Cannon died it was the largest manufacturer of textiles in the world. A great place to gr...

Old Gibson Flat Top

My Father-in-law has an old Gibson flat top, I think they call it a three quarter size, he bought new right after WWll. In really good shape with the original alligator hyde case. His health is going down fast and will probably be selling it soon. Does anyone have some idea what this guitar would be...

Randy, Last summer I picked up a nail in the front tire of my riding mower. Didn't have any plugs so I pulled out the nail, got a short fat wood screw, coated it with Gorilla glue, spit on it and screwed it into the hole. Let it dry overnight, pumped it up and it's held ever since. Wonderful stuff!!

Dennis, look up Dunlop nylon herco thumb picks on the internet. This looks like the ones I have. The nylon stretches some without breaking.

Dennis, there used to be a medium blue nylon thumbpick out there. Don't remember the name. Bought a dozen many years ago and still have a few. Lost several but never broke one. For playing electric guitar I would shave them down real thin from the inside and still never broke one.
