Rains

That is a beautiful guitar Thomas. I was working with Gary, building guitars when i got the one i have now. My guitar is about 4 years old and has done alot of traveling on planes and tour buses without one single problem. And i love the 705 pick-up. And you won't get better service than Gary and Da...

I would agree with Paul on this after spending 30 years on the road and working in bands where the guitar player can get away with about anything and the artist wants the steel just like the record.

Hey guy's. Thanks for the very nice words. I enjoy my time talking steel and meeting people. My first steel album was a Lloyd Green and my second was a Buddy Emmons. I just loved Lloyd's playing from day one and i don't need to say a word about Buddy. That's a given. I'm proud that some of there sty...

Hey, Cor. I don't own a Rains myself, yet. But i've been out to hear Gary Carpenter( a very good Texas player) play his 3 or 4 times and his plays great and sounds even better than it plays. The tone is great. I would say an exellent guitar and getting better.

I agree with all of the above. Gary's playing was amazing. Like Bill, I've gone out to hear Gary several times and just can't get enough. His Rains was crystal clear. All the way to the end of the fret board. Played great. I think the Rains guitar will be one of the top guitars.

Got to hear Robby back with Randy Corner and Frenchie at the Randy Corner Birthday Party. He sounded great on his new MSA and played Big Mamou better than the original cut. I just got a copy of this cd. One of the best i've heard. Randy has a tone to die for and is so smooth you find yourself listening for something wrong. Pick noise, bad note, anything. Randy's playing is killer from beginning to end. I listened to it 3 times without stopping. Great stuff.
