Sunday's Etsga Show
I WANT TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK CORKY OWENS, BILL SIMMONS, AND THE "FARWELL PARTY BAND" FOR A GREAT SHOW YESTERDAY IN TYLER. WE HAD THE LARGEST CROWD WE HAVE EVER HAD AT THE LIBRARY. THE MUSIC WAS OUTSTANDING AND THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT. WE ALSO HAD SOME FUN, AT CORKY'S EXPENSE. YESTERDAY WAS HIS BIRTHDAY. I'LL LET YOU ASK HIM "HOW MANY". THANKS AGAIN GUYS FOR THE MUSIC AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTS THE ETSGA CLUB. W.J. COPELAND

I must say that Sunday was one of the most enjoyable times playing. Everyone in Tyler, TX is so friendly and supportive of the steel guitar. Corky and I had a blast playing like we do jammin' in my music room -- relaxed and having fun!
What a treat to have Gene Watson's band -- The Farewell Party Band -- as back up group! They all gave of their time and were just incredible players! Thanks to W.J. Copeland and Charles Tilley and workers for their hard work...hope we can do it again soon.
