On the lookout for some parts for an early-70’s Marlen pull-release guitar. Specifically, some bell cranks, swivels, collars, etc.

I’ve got one coming in that needs some major TLC.

I always set my steel on top of my seat (with the back folded down). It’s a bit of a balancing act but it becomes second nature. Works great for me!

BTW the 8th and 9th string lowers on E9 have the springs near the changer. Maybe the 6th as well, it's hard to see in the pic.
