Looking for tab: Brookes and Dunn's "next broken heart&

Thanks in advance if you can help me out. The quick single note triplets near the end of the solo. That's the only part I need.

Hartke Speakers?

I have a Hartke aluminum coned speaker I was thinking about sticking it in my Session 400 for the heck of it to see what the steel sounds like through it. It's a great sounding bass speaker. Anyone ever tried your steel in this type of combo before? Thanks in advance for your input.

I'm with you on that matter Dennis. My MSA had the easiest knees to operate, being on the back side. When I got my Emmons I had a hard time getting used to the right knees being in the middle of the cabinet. (I still love it anyway though). :D

Hi Andreas, my first really good steel was also an MSA D-10. The guitar was excellent mechanically but the pickups were, IMO, not very good. I replaced the E9th neck with a Bill Lawrence, (can't remember the number), and a George L's E-66 on the C6th neck. The improvement was beyond my greatest expe...

Thank you Erv, Dave, and Jim. Nothing will take my Emmons' place but I'm always interested in the tunings, etc. of it's predecessors .

I like the Jagwires also Hook, those, and the S.I.T.'s last longer than others I've used in the past. Thanks for the reply, and BTW, great C6 work on "You Win Again".
Thanks for the info Jack, I don't have time to visit the forum too often and I don't want to beat a dead horse for sure.

G# Gauge's Poll

What gauge's do you use for your 3rd and 6th strings? Do you like plain or wound on the 6th string? What brand of strings do you use the most?
I use Buddy's signature S.I.T. with a plain .22 and .11 for my G#'s. I like the eveness the plain .22 has with the B string.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Bob, I use a Roland KB-500 (which sounds like the amp you're describing) with my Session 400 in stereo.
Keyboard amps are basically little p.a. systems. With some reverb and a discriminating ear on the highs (because of the horn) you can get a good tone for steel.

matchbro bar and settings

My matchbro bar was stolen last weekend. Any advice on what else to use is appreciated. What are they made of?
Also, do you change your amp/effects settings for a "better Dobro sound?" Thanks in advance.

Carl, enjoyed your playing and band last evening. Thanks for letting me sit in. It was an interesting "twelve string experience". Hope to jam again soon, Ray. http://steelguitarforum.com/cool.gif <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Ray Satterf...

Ann, I'm gonna try to make it to the Destin show. Rusty's one of my favorites. Here's Rusty playing his Mellobar on stage in Jacksonville, FL. in 1985. I talked with him before the show and will never forget the graciousness of the man. http://members.delphi.com/msa4/ry1.jpg ------------------ www.R...
