Is it Hot Buddy?
They had pretty girls surrounding the musicians back then, too! :)

Are Hook, Theresa, and myself the only ones digging this? :o Ok, maybe I don't know much about steel guitar. But I still say it's darn good picking for a 18-19 year old kid. He was that good 5 years before I was born. No wonder I never caught up. :\

PS. Thereas, I thought pretty girls always surronded the steel players? :? Maybe I was just lucky. :P

Bobby, that's one of my favorites too!

Walter Haynes told me that when Buddy Emmons came to Nashville he put everybody back in the Woodshed. :)

I have Promotional 45's of Emmons playing back in the 50's, like Flint Hill Special, among others. He was playing better at 17-18 years old than most players will ever get IMO.

Bobby - thanks for posting that!

There's no-one else who plays with audacity! That solo is just so much fun, and it's played impeccably, too.

It doesn't matter what Buddy does - he just sets the bar for everyone else.
