Leaving the speaker output open (unconnected) will harm a tube amp but not a transistor amp. If you are still worried, I suggest this A-B box:

Re: Kevin Hatton
Kevin is all service and great products. I was surprised at how soon I received my speaker. What Joe said! I purchased a EPS-15 from Kevin that arrived with a broken frame due to bad handling by USPS. Right away he offered to send another speaker or refund me. That`s what I call excellent service! ...

Most of these little mics are omnidirecional, they might work well to record your instrument in a quiet room. But you can forget pretty much about using them for amplification, as they (being omnis) pick up the speaker's signal as much as the original sound and hence giving feedback easily. If you w...

A good example of nice smooth tight tone!! Fessy straight into a Nash 400 amp?? Sounds a bit warmer than that. Great player too!! Hi David, Here`s what I got me for a fly date last year: I purchased a Storm 3100 Case, originally designed to transport guns, too. Lifetime guarantee, watertight, good quality inline wheels, six lockable latches and two big rubber-padded handles. I got some scrap pieces of professional foam from th...

Hi Olli, Mark's answer is right on the money: Playing the PU and the Aura stompbox since four years, to me the dobro without the Aura sounds like a piezo-amplified sting instrument, but with the Aura switched on, it sounds like a well-miked Dobro! The main advantage of the pickup itself is the much ...

Hans is correct. (Edit: and fast...) In detail: Pullrods should have just a little slack when no pedals or levers are activated. If you have two or more pulls on one pedal or lever, you want them to start (hit the raiser/lower finger) and end (finish the pull at the correct pitch) at the same time. ...
