I seem to remember Jack Green had a song by this title in one of those old Texas Troubador Albums. Your intro would work for that song. I think it's great!

Greg, that is probably the best version of that song I ever heard in my life. Makes me want to go out, buy a PSG and dedicate the rest of my life to learning that one song! I heard Cindy Cashdollar play Sleepwalk at a Bankers Convention in Austin about 4 years ago. Until now, that was the best versi...

I snuck into the old Stagecoach Inn in Stamford, Texas at the age of 16 to hear Ray Price. I'm 53 years old and still hope my mother don't hear about this! Jimmy Day was the steel player that night and he captured my attention. Loved the sound above all other musical instruments since that night.

In 1978 I bought a brand new green LDG at McCarty Music in Wichita Falls, Texas for $850.00. Just as you could sort of identify the song I was trying to play, disaster struck! I sold the LDG for $875 to raise money to get married! I made $25 on the deal. It would appear that the same guitar has appr...

Who played in Hico at the Steak Cookoff?

Jerry Webb, the singing architect assembled a band and played at the 3rd annual steak cookoff and beef symposium in Hico Texas yesterday. It was a great show with plenty of plain ole Texas dance hall music. He had a steel player with him that blew my socks off and made it worth sitting in 100 degree...

In 1979 I bought a LDG in Wichita Falls Texas brand new for $895.00. Just about the time it got to where you could sort of tell what I was playing, tragedy struck! I met my future wife and had to sell the guitar to raise money to get married. So after about 1 year I sold it to Steve Lamb for $850.00...

The Wheel

I don't post here very often because I prefer to read what you guys have to say. I don't play, but have a deep love for the PSG and the incredible sound that it produces. I have a great deal of respect for any person who can play one of these contraptions and this forum is filled with talented music...
