E9th - Hammer On's At 1st Fret

Post by Greg Cutshaw »

This riff was used as an intro to a minor hit song. I think it was a version of "The Hardest Easy Thing I've Ever Done" but don't quote me. It has nice hammer on's in it! The part at the 3rd fret on strings 1,3, and 4 can be played by hammering off the 3rd string (with pedal B engaged) at the 3rd fret then picking the 4th string at the 3rd fret.

I seem to remember Jack Green had a song by this title in one of those old Texas Troubador Albums. Your intro would work for that song. I think it's great!
