Actually, in that chart Jimmy raised 5 and 10 to D on LKV!

I know b0b's chart of Buddy E's C6 shows him raising only 3 to C#, but in his Basic C6 course, Buddy recommends raising both 3 & 7 to C#. It's the only knee lever he includes besides the 3rd string B lower.

I notice Herb Steiner's setup for his C6th Essay includes raising both as well.

Windows 10 is said to be good until October 2025. And much of what I'm seeing online suggests many older computers (how old?) won't be able to handle Windows 11.

My desktop computer is running Windows 8.1. I find various web pages and videos saying that upgrading to Windows 10 free is still possible, and making it look easy. Trying to keep the language as everyday as possible: The nylon thing you tune at the changer end (using a hex socket wrench) to adjust the pedal or lever is a nut and is threaded onto the metal rod that runs under the guitar. It sounds to me as though the simplest and most likely explanation for you...

In the picture of the changer from the top side, I notice that the screw at the back side of the changer on the 4th string sticks out more than the others. Just an observation--I have no idea if it is significant. I can't make any sense of the underside changer pic!

I agree with Donny 100%. Fender cable steels are a finite resource. They have some good characteristics that later, "improved", steels do not. Rather than alter one, if you want a more modern steel with rods, I'd say get one, and sell the Fender if you have to (or keep it if you can. I wis...

I lower strings 3 and 6 to G on LKL front, and string 9 to C# on RKR (RKR also raises my string 2 (D) to D#). Easy to hit them together.
