Actually Joe, Travis was on the C6 neck. He had the true boowah pedal. Great pickin' for sure. Makes us E9 players look like total beginners! I don’t play or own a C6fh tuning. I am playing E9th in the video. You’re probably talking about Tyler Hall, who was indeed playing C6th tuning in the clip. -t

Re: Steeler for Luke Bryan
Hey Sonny. That is me indeed. Though to be fair, it is MOSTLY a banjo and acoustic guitar gig. I do play steel on a few tunes though. Give me a shout if you’re gonna be around.Sonny Jenkins wrote:Who is playing steel for Luke Bryan in Vegas this week,,,???

Hey Lance. I don’t personally have a preference either way. I think some folks will probably show up with guitars, and some won’t.Lance Rogers wrote:instruments or no instrument seminar?

Dallas Show Schedule Stuff
Hey everybody! Just wanted to make it known that despite my schedule getting thrown upside down with a new gig, I’m still gonna make it to teach my seminar on Thursday. As it currently stands, I have a private gig in California on Friday with a different artist, so I’ll unfortunately have to head ou...

Jingle Bells
Hey guys and gals. Hope everyone is well and getting prepared for a wonderful holiday. Just thought I’d share this over here. I post a lot on social media (Facebook, Instagram) but usually forget to link anything on here. This is just a quick little stab at a Jingle Bells arrangement that is this we...

Re: Chord-Inator for E9
Anyone remember this? I bought it at one of Jeff Newmans June Jams. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/13244_20211123_182052_2.jpg Hey Larry. That was indeed my late father’s invention. Super cool that you’ve got one. I have a few in a box in my garage that my mom gave me when going...

Re: Quilter TT15 Volume issue.
Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with volume. I played a job tonight and had master and gain maxed out and it was adequate but I’m thinking it should have been way louder at those levels. On my Steelaire I max master and run the gains at 4 at the most. Bobby, did you get this figured o...

Re: Reviving an old thread...
This was the most recent thread I've found concerning the TT-12... I just got one, really like it but I have a question... I will be switching back and forth between steel and 6 string and will therefore have the 202 on a tray mounted on my steel legs. I'll need to run a cable from the 202 to the c...

Re: Just pulled the trigger on the TT-12; 800W version
That is a frustrating misprint on the GC site that they seem unable to correct, despite multiple requests. The amp is 200 watts. There is no 800 watt TT model. The only 800 watt amp is the Bass Block. -t Well had this email come from anyone else I would have dismissed it. Doubt I'll refuse/return i...

Re: Just pulled the trigger on the TT-12; 800W version
Hi, just put in my order with GC for the upgraded (?) 800W model, and I have a couple questions... 1. Speaker only handles 300W but amp puts out 800W at 4 ohms...? Seems a bit off...??? 2. Has the lesser powered model decreased in price? GC only has the 800W model listed so maybe it's a GC edition ...
