Years ago I bought a Line 6 HX Stomp, multi FX unit, and also a 2 button switch that toggles through my presets. The switch is small, and I have it mounted on my rear right leg. Kerry, this may not help... cause I got my TT-15 in a Quilter cab... and it's a bit deeper cab.... wonderful bass response. I would try dialing back the bass from your usual setting, but still cutting the mids a bit. Hope that helps.... you're an awesome player, can't imagine any new equipment to se...

My band, The Hill Country Truckers will be opening a theatre concert with Gethen Jenkins and his band on July 21st. The venue is the JourneyDowntown Theatre (the old Theatre DeVille). I think Jack's comment about the FullQ setting sounding much like the Steelaire is right on, .... and I kept my Steelaire 'cause I've had much success with it over the years... but, if I was going buy one or the other, I'd invest in the 202.... more compac...

Billy Mata was inducted into the Western Swing Society's Hall of Fame with me, way back in 2008. And Roger and I immediately became good friends. Great band, and great folks!

Love my new TT-15!

One of my first steel amps was a black faced Bassman through two 1-15 (D-130s) cabs.... sounded killer... way back then.

Also, I understand Mr. Brumley was a huge fan of the Fender Bassman for steel.

Just got a few pix, and here's one of my band, and Whitey's Little Walter amps. Also, just behind me is my new Quilter tt-15 amp... love this amp!

So, the event came off without a hitch last night, in Roseville, CA. What fun to play to a packed house of folks who actually knew what a pedal steel guitar was :) Whitey and the 78s were just amazing, such great musicianship.... and on pedal steel he had Johnny "Up" Shadid... playing a SD...

I believe Whitey's current PSG player is a guy who goes by the name of Johnny "Up" Shadid. I know he has some instructional videos on You Tube.
