Gallien-Krueger MB200 $175 Shipped-S0LD

Gallien-Krueger MB200 installed inside a Tommy Huff cabinet is about six years old. I'm selling it without the cabinet and without the rack ears. It was serviced recently at Guitar Resurrection in Austin. Check, PayPal F&F, Venmo, Zelle. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2203/4550_Installed...

If one plugs into the effects return on Quilter 202 tone block, the manual states that there will be a 6db cut on the master. Danny, maybe that's why you could not get the output. The manual states that when one simultaneously plugs a dummy 1/4" into the effects send(such as one side of a patch...

Sesh

TC, Nice work. My son is a metalhead. About 15-20 years ago, I gave him a Session head that he still uses unmodified. What would you use to make it sound like this?

This is what Pevey made in the late '70s to solve that problem. It borrows from the speaker out a signal and converts
it. They work pretty well. They're available everywhere for about 25 bucks.

I read your dissertation. It was quite interesting. I sent you an email from the address you posted on the IRB form. Although I am more than 30 years your senior, I feel like our trajectories were similar.

Custom Legs

I solved the problem easily. I am short, but I prefer my seat higher in the back than the front. I assume that your seat has plastic glides in the aluminum tubes. Like this: https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2203/4550_IMG_1010_1.jpg They are replaceable as threaded inserts like this: https://bb...

Use any overdrive device Before your volume pedal, not after. That way the gain is not influenced by anything other than how hard you pick.

I agree with Lee. The guitar body has to be steady to assemble. I tried a soft case but I had to put it on the floor for the legs and pedal bar etc. Whereas, with a hard case, it is stable on my seat. If I had hours to set up, or green rooms larger than a toilet stall, that may have been different.

Peterson Wow !!!!

I have been a fan of the Strobostomp line of tuners they first introduced the product. And now I am convinced. Last Friday, when setting up for a gig, I noticed that the display on my Stobostomp HD was dim, and the battery symbol was flashing. Changing the battery did nothing. A power supply solved ...

This is a sad day in Austin. Neil, besides being one of the greats of the steel guitar, was one of the kindest and most thoughtful gentlemen one could ever meet. In August I dropped by Ginnys to see him with Fingerpistol. We chatted during a break and said I would hang with him some in Dallas. The n...

Played my first gig in 20 months.

So I received a text, “Do you want to play a Saturday night gig at Ginny’s?” (AKA The Little Longhorn.) “Yes!” I even gave up golf for a day to woodshed. I was sent a song list, no practice. Shout out to Erik Metzger-keys, Tom Umberger-guitar, Ben Sparks-bass, Chris Walther-drums. We had a...

I have two Klines. They are working steel guitars—low or no maintenance. If you are into changing the copedant weekly, it is not for you. It is not lightweight. It does not go out of tune. In a pinch, you can wait for a break to tune it. It is easy to set up, and it is stable on the worst of stage...
