I couldn't see very well whether there were grooves filed in the bridge. One set of plans I have show grooves filed so the top of the strings were in the same plane. Your thoughts?

I am building my first lap steel and am a little confused about where to locate the pick-up (single coil). The scale length is 22.5". Is there a formula to determine the best location? Or should I just wing it?

When I open a new window, it doesn't open full screen. I have to maximize it. This just started happening. Normally a new window opens maximized.
