Can Anyone Help Identify This Guitar
My Dad played this guitar Hawaiian style back in the 30's. He had a Hawaiian band and my Mother played also. The guitar is a Regal that has a nut to raise the strings. Can anyone give me some more information on this guitar. I haven't been able to find out anything. When I query Regal, all I get is ...

Confused about C6 chords
Beginners question? I seem to be doing OK with melody's but am really confused about chords using C6 tuning. In Scotty’s Basic C6 non pedal book it shows for example the C chords as being like this: [tab] E--------------------12---0--------8-----12 C---0---4---7---12---12---0---7------------ A------...

The guitar was set-up by Tim Scheerhorn a few years ago using his nut and bridge/spyder and quarterman cone. That string on the 7th fret sounds dead. Other strings so...

Pick-up Location
I am building my first lap steel and am a little confused about where to locate the pick-up (single coil). The scale length is 22.5". Is there a formula to determine the best location? Or should I just wing it?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks Jack and Don, I got a call this afternoon from Nick Reed who recently played with you guys. He is in Springfield, TN which isn't too far from where I live. He said that you were a great bunch of guys and that he really enjoyed his visit. If we get down your way, I will be looking forward to m...

New Window Size
When I open a new window, it doesn't open full screen. I have to maximize it. This just started happening. Normally a new window opens maximized. I had this problem once before but can't remember how I fixed it. I think I have to manually drag the boarders to fill the screen but I can't remember how...

I use a shoutcast streaming tool (url below). Works for me sometimes, just plug in the IP and port. It even separates songs into separate files. Please note that I am not connected with this site. I am just passing it along as a way to download audio streams onto your PC. You might also try www.shou...

Win Amp Volume
I am using Win Amp to play CD's and mp3's that I have on my PC. But when I use it as an audio player, I have to set the volume a lot higher than I think I should. Same thing with Windows Media Player. Is there a way to get some volume without turning it up real high? If I forget to turn it back down...

Try sirius.com or xmradio.com to get the lowdown. Now, you can listen to eminem or Smashing Pumpkins all day, totally uncensored, commercial free for about $12 a month. Howard Stern is probably right, it is the wave of the future. I can't imagine what Sirius paid him but his move to Sirius will real...
