Saweet - super thanks! So per the chart I am guessing it falls under the 'note 1' aspect of this sheet?

ZumSteel Mystery

Can anyone tell me what year this Zum may have been built? I have bought it as an extended E9 set up but wasn't sure what I have gotten my hands on. It is a great guitar - stays in tune but want to modify the copedant. Thanks! BP https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2203/3760_69176908443__5BB55F11...

NV400 Problems

Is anybody at the DFW Show going to have a NV400 reverb mod? I'm still having a problem with the reverb on it (except if I shake/slam down the amp - usually turns reverb on) and when I try to hook up an effects loop or volume pedal to the 'pre eq' in I'm having some issues as well - extremely noisy ...

NV and Profex

Mike,
On the third option, how should you hook up your volume pedal? I thought you could hook vp to pre-eq and then effects to post eq (all on front). What option do you use to turn effect on and off with the effects/reverb pedal that comes with a NV1000?
THanks,

Nashville 400 Reverb Cutting Out

I got a great deal on a NV400. Sometimes when i turn it on, the reverb works, sometimes it doesn't. I've noticed if i jiggle the wire a bit leaing to the reverb tank, i can usually kick it on. Anyone have a suggestion of how to fix this? Can the wires be re-soldered down at the tank? Anyone ever had...

Rules

Has anyone ever written down all of the 'rules' for PSG when trying to learn the chords on the neck? For example, is there a place where you can see something like this; an F chord can be played on the following; -1st fret open -4th fret F and A -8th fret AB down and all of the chords that can be pl...

Technique Question - How Many Times to Come in -1 song

I'm playing with a guy on an acoustic set tomorrow. I've been working out all of the cover songs and wonder if there is a standard amount of times i should limit myself to coming in? The sky is probably the limit but I really don't want to over do it - three times? Intro, solo, end? Any suggestions ...

NV1000 for sale - will be at TSGA Jamboree Friday

I am selling my NV1000 - it is in mint condition and has the footswitch. It's been taken to 2 gigs in my pitiful 'live playing' life. I would love to sell for $475. I also have a lot of midi gear I want to unload including; M-Audio Oxygen 8 (old version) M-Audio e49 Key midi controller M-Audio Trigg...

How to build a leg attachment for stomp box pedal?

Does anyone know how i can build a leg attachment for a single stomp box reverb pedal of mine? It's a Line 6 Echo park and I would love to attach it so I can have access to the parameters on it. I've thought about PVC pipe but am not sure of the size and how to attach it to the pedal. Thanks in adva...

I have a Marshall Solid State amp with 2x12 speakers that you could easily use as a cabinet (since the power is crapped out). I thought about doing this but bought a nv400. I would be happy to talk about a trade/cheap sell.

Cabinet Drop

I just bought a new steel - really nice SD10. Over time, it has slowly been slipping out of tune. I put new strings on and understand what this can do to tuning (initially) but also, in determining the problem, have noticed that when i hit the "a" pedal, it lowers my 'E's very slightly. I....

RAM CARTRIDGE for Profex II

Does anyone know where you can still buy a blank RAM Cartridge so, the person I know who has the Newman settings, can download all of them for me and I can have a back-up for myself? My battery recently went dead (due to not turning the unit on for a few months) and I, after re-setting the system, l...

I have the same problem. My settings had weird letters thrown in the middle like Stl St3el. I reset to factory settings. I hadn't turned the Profex on in a few months, can that kill the battery? Can a non-techie replace the battery - I would like to fix all problems before re-loading the settings. T...

You should check out Marty Muse. He's the steel player for Robert Earle Keen and has a small, what appears to be only a 25 note keyboard that he keeps to the right of his rig w/ a sustain pedal. I saw him do simple "one-handed chords" with the keyboard and sustain it so he could go back to...

You can also go to www.buddyemmons.com and use the first solo part of the "Blues to Use" - it's great for the C6th.
