Those should be fine. Same capacitance as used in the 200 watt Nashville 400 amps

Caps

Can’t say they did. But they were a bit higher capacitance and the same diameter
As the originals.

Half the length. Newer caps are more efficient and smaller than the old ones. The diameter made it a nice fit.

Battery-less memory mods

Still got 12 left at 39.00 total shipped I closed down the website as I can no longer get the Burr Brown chips from Texas Instruments for amp mods

Slowed down amp repair to just local and drop off repairs

I can still do PayPal or a check for the memory chips

Just PM me if you need one

Compressor

Also the compressor in these units are terrible. They add what is called “rocks in the tail “. A distortion as the signal dies off

Ground loop

The Tubefex and Transtubefex both have grounded AC power cord. That can often create low level ground loop hum. Try a ground lift plug If that helps then a Hum-x is a safe solution to solve that

As Jack said it can also overdrive the input of a guitar amp if not adjusted properly

Session 400 or LTD 400 power amp board please close

Long shot for sure. Been working on one for a friend. Just about everything on the board has been replace but can’t eliminate a noise

Even a non working chassis would be great

Typically that problem will occur from battery leakage to two small traces that run by the battery area and then go to the data encoder (pot)

1983 Tele

My main guitar since the early 90's has been my 1983 Tele. I had it modified for a third pickup at Twelth Fret in Portland, Oregon many year ago. Added a Schaller drop D tuner, a custom pickguard by Warmoth. Had a lot of Teles since then and a Strat. Always went back to the 1983 Tele. Great playing ...
