Post by Dave Campbell »

i need to replace the filter capacitors in the session 400 that just found its way to me.

does anyone have a current mouser catalogue number for the correct filter. it would save me hunting.

thanks so much, ken. that's excactly what i was looking for. but...

being hotheaded i went ahead and ordered these:

i think they are very slightly less capacitance than stock (4700uf vs 5000), but given the tolerances i don't think i'm worried. do you find the higher capacitance ones you recommend tighten things up a bit?

Caps

Post by Ken Fox »

Can’t say they did. But they were a bit higher capacitance and the same diameter
As the originals.

Half the length. Newer caps are more efficient and smaller than the old ones. The diameter made it a nice fit.

Those should be fine. Same capacitance as used in the 200 watt Nashville 400 amps
