WTB - knee levers
Wanted: 3 Knee levers that I could modify to work on a Fender 800. Should have some kind of adjustable stop and be able to fold down to fit in case. Other than that, I'm not too fussy.

Endplate tuning
I picked up an MSA on ebay and I can't get all the knees tuned at the endplate. I've seen a ton of threads on how to do this but can't seem to find one when I need it. Does anyone remember the thread(s) on tuning levers at the endplate?
TIA
This MSA has problems but sound isn't one of them.

Boss rotary pedal
I have a Boss RT-20 and I use it in every gig. I've owned a fender leslie cabinet and a motion sound unit plus I've played with B3 players so I know what they are supposed to sound like. I would buy this unit again in a heartbeat. It's useful for pads or for R&R solos and anything in between. As...

Occasionally
Over the years bands I've been in have been flashed by well endowed young ladies, but the most memorable occasion was when I looked up just in time to catch a full moon, and there not 10 feet away was the Chrysler star. I pretty much forgot where I was in the song.

Speaker Change
Changing speakers will affect the sound. That goes for about any change. JBLs or BW's would change your sound too, but they would also probably make it heavier. Sound is so subjective, I would hesitate to say if you would like the change. I liked the change in my PV Delta Blues, your mileage may vary.

Put your Amp on a diet - Neodynium Speaker
You can trim 4-8 pounds off your amp with this 15 inch Neodynium speaker. I have two, one is in my Delta Blues amp and is going to stay there. The speaker is 8 ohms. I bought it here on the forum but I disremember who I bought it from. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix0812/2442_front_1.jpg http...

Why is a physics major when you need one
I don't pretend to know much about physics. It would seem that the all of the energy transmitted by the spring has got to go somewhere. I would assume part would travel down the axel into the body and back to the string. Any remaining energy would follow the path to the spring, vibrate down it and b...

Guitar & Steel - one amp or two?
Who else plays both Steel and 6 string on gigs? I use a NV1000 for the steel and a Peavey Blues Classic for the 6 string. I tried using an AB switch for the Steel and 6 string into the NV1000, but when the amp is set for one, it sounds terrible on the other. Will one amp with two channels do it or a...

Still got mine
Hi Wayne, I still use mine and I'd echo the observations above. 1. It's comfortable all night long, set after set. 2. the legs could fold up quicker and easier. 3. The compartment for the pedal doesn't fit my Hilton well nor did it fit the goodrich light pedal I used before. That said, If I didn't l...

4 GIG
I just bought an H4. The new firmwareupgrade lets you use a 4 gig SD card. The existing mikes are in XY configuration but you can use external mikes from an sm57 to a newman U47 with phanton power.
for the extra bucks, I'd go for the H4

Polytone Hum Problem
I just picked up a Polytone Mini Brute off eBay. My problem is hum. I have a new guitar with Wallace True Tones. The signal chain is straight out of the guitar and into the amp. No volume pedal or other device is used. When I put a Six string on the amp using the same cord the hum goes away. It is d...
