I like it. I found her a bit ago on the No Depression web site. Here she is playing with Cobirds Unite. At the end of this video there are a couple of others.

I caught Dylan Saturday night here in Duluth, GA. I really enjoyed it. Donnie Herron was the steeler. I think there were three steels on stage, the music stand steel, a pedal steel and a non pedal steel. I had good seats but just couldn’t tell what they were. That was the first concert I had been to...

More Bryan Adams
I just wanted to say more good things about Bryan Adams. I read about him here, sent him my ’72 Emmons S10 P/P, and in short order had it back. He completely reworked the guitar and I am very pleased. If you need some work on your guitar you should give him a call.

Ron Wood on Steel
I saw the Stones here in Atlanta on Saturday and Ron played a steel. Mick left the stage, they set the steel way out front and Keith did one of his songs, “The Worst”. The guitar was a single neck Emmons with six pedals and no knees that I could see. No fancy work, but sounded great to me. And yea, ...

After several weeks on order, I finally received their new album “Eveningland”. A couple of cuts have been getting some airplay on one of the local college stations here in Atlanta. When I first heard one of the songs on the radio, I thought it might be the Cowboy Junkies, but then heard is was Hem....

Nice article on Tommy Dodd
There is a really nice article on Tommy Dodd, “Country gentleman's steel guitar hits all notes”, on the front page of the Arts and Entertainment section of the Atlanta Journal today. Way to go Tommy. Hopefully this link will work. David http://www.accessatlanta.com/music/content/music/0904/12dodd.ht...

George I am having the same trouble with Netscape 7.1. Some time ago I didn’t have this problem. I have found that I can save the file to the desktop and then a double click will open the file in windows media player. I have the same system at my office and have the same problem. A coworker does not...

Lurleen Lumpkin's Steeler?
Does anyone know who was playing the steel for the Simpsons backing 1992? I caught the rerun again the other evening and heard Lurleen do her hits, “I Finally Bagged Me A Homer”, and “Stand by Your Manager”. I had not noticed before, but they had all the band members smoking. What great stuff!

Jim I would be very surprised if your problem was with your browser. I would think it would be your line or ISP. I have been on 7.0 for several months with no problems. However, I have DSL and not had any 20-minute downloads. You might give 4.7 another try or two if you did not remove it. Then try 7...
