Mike Headrick "Steels on Wheels"

Post by Steve Spitz »

Check this out. All instrumental versions of Gram Parsons/Chris Hillman CD. Sweet vintage west coast counry tone from Mikes Fender 800 and Emmons steel. This one is all steel all the time. I allways can expect to play a few of these tunes on my local gigs, I think I`ll borrow a few licks. Please don`t tell my bandmates. I`d like them to think I`m tastefull. (Highly unlikely) Mike has rythym tracks available as well . Best disc I`ve heard in a while.

Hi Steve, If you like that cd try Mikes other cds Slanted and Up to the Gills they are just as great. I play each one at least once a week if not more.never get tired of his tone and style.

I agree. It is a great CD to go along with the great service I received when ordering from bob.
