Lurleen Lumpkin's Steeler?

Post by David Cutter »

Does anyone know who was playing the steel for the Simpsons backing 1992? I caught the rerun again the other evening and heard Lurleen do her hits, “I Finally Bagged Me A Homer”, and “Stand by Your Manager”. I had not noticed before, but they had all the band members smoking. What great stuff!

And they showed the steel player on screen! I just realized that when I saw the repeat a week or two ago. I was kind of wondering who the band and steeler were respectively myself.

I think Earnest Bovine owned up to this a couple of years ago. May have been me asking. I forgot to ask if she looked hot up close.

My favorite Lurleen song was "Will You Bunk with Me Tonight". Shania and Faith got nothing on Lurleen. She's a hottie and her music's better!
