That was a day I'll never forget. Lloyd not only talked in depth with me about steel guitar but he wanted to know about my playing and made .
me feel like a steel player. It was truly the best experience I've ever had. Thank you Lloyd for spending 30 minutes with a struggling steel player

Out of all the famous steel players I had the honor to have a picture with this one means more to me than all man's riches or gold. b0b was truly a blessing to this community. Everyone was blessed by his words of wisdom in one way or the other. b0b was really intelligent when it came to other tunings other than E9 and C6. Not having b0b present here on the forum is like not having the A and B pedal on a steel guitar. Just doesn'...

That would be my pick. :D

Erv I'm aware of it and I'm a fan of the NV 400 however when I say I'm on a limited budget $200 is not in the budget. I'm on disability with very minimal income

Yup, some late 70s to mid-80s Peaveys like the Pacer, Backstage/Backstage-Plus, and the Studio Pro/Pro-40/Pro-50. Or if you can find one reasonable, Bandit/Bandit-65 or the Special/Special-130. The Specials have the added attraction of a sweepable mid control. All are, to my tastes, good for guitar...

Look for an old Peavey Pacer. They built a gazillion of 'em, and sometimes you can pick 'em up for a pittance. Still not cheap enough? Look for an entry level small student bass amp, and go without reverb until you can find a cheap pedal. Pedal steel is not for the faint of heart, or the light of w...

Thanks for the input as bad as I hate to admit it my budget is pretty tight. As much as I want another NV 400 my budget at the moment won't even allow me that. Bear in mind I'm not playing any gigs I'm playing at home to work my chops back that I had so I'm just looking for something inexpensive tha...
