I have a fender 400 and good hard case original. It had 4 on the floor and two knee levers, ala Ralph Mooney, ie Piano wire raises.It looks like all other late model 400's. I'll ship it anywhere in lower 48 for $950.00.

Does the 400 have knees installed? Yes the knees are jury rigged but wouk flawlessly. I am trying to upload some pictures now. I have added two knee levers to my 400 and they work great. I can show you how it's done, if you ask.

It looks exactly like all of them but precisely like the bottom one.
Mine has 4 black cast pedals, a roller bridge, 2 add-on knee levers and has Fender script on the pedal board. Has a 23 " scale and a case like the bottom one pictures. Mine aint that clean tho.

It is very easy to add knee paddles to these 400's.
my 2 paddles will add a true minor and a true 7th to the open # 1 open chords which strum all across the 8 strings.

Best copen that I've found yet for 8 strings.

most decent guitar repair shops carry the "buttons" that have crumbled away on your instrument. This is what I did on my multikord that had the exact same problem: remove strings remove tuner plate remove tuners from plate clean tuners and remove old buttons with pliers heat just the tip ...
