It arrived Friday (thanks again David!), I just started reading it so Dave could tell you a lot more about it than I.
Author Fred Wright and Reece became friends a few years prior to the book’s publication (2010). It is 206 pages in length. There are a handful of black & white photos sprinkled throughout the book. I have yet to play the CD, contents in the photo below.

Maurice sent me a signed copy of his book when it was first published. I loved the book, although it hardly scratched the surface of of his lifetime achievements.
The CD has some previous recordings on it plus some newer ones that I hadn't heard before. He really was a fabulous player. I brought him over to the UK in the 1970's to do a series of seminars across the country, and introduced him to some important contacts who latterly imported a number of MSA pedal steels. That period was barely mentioned in the book. I guess that if Maurice's full story was put into print, it would be a hefty and weighty tome.
