The Zone

Post by James Venverloh »

Sara, you are an amazing player and an inspiration to me. I’m battling Liver Cancer and just underwent my second surgery. My first response was “fear based” and had decided to liquidate all my equipment.

One evening I was sitting in my “studio” (extra bedroom). and started to remember those times ( playing at a gig or at home) when it all “came together “. I don’t want to sound corny, but I was filled with a light and it was almost “ like looking straight into the face of God”.

I could not bring myself to sell ANY of my equipment. It’s like I’m never as close to God as when I’m using the talents that I was given. I call it being in the “God Zone”. Hearing you play, I’ll bet you a nickel that you are a frequent flyer into that particular Zone. I’m now wondering how many forum members have “been there”.

Thank you for the beautiful music that you have gifted us with. Jim Venverloh

Health and wellness

Post by Don Griffiths »

Sarah,
So sorry to hear of health problems of your own and the responsibility of a loved one. I moved in with my father more than a year ago while he was doing chemo. He is gone now, the last few months was like taking care of an infant while working I suppose. I’ve never had one. Anyway thanks for the wonderful YouTube’s and inspirational playing.
Prayers and Love to you Dear!

Hi Sarah,
I’ve been a Sarah fan since I first heard you at the ISGC in St. Louis. You were in total command of the E9th tuning, wonderful tone, nice licks and a very good song list. It was also my pleasure to get to talk with you, thank you for time to talk to me. You also have a wonderful personality. Sarah, I hope and pray for your health and continued touring. God Bless you and your family.

I met Sarah about 2 years ago on a steel guitar meeting in the Netherlands but already have seen her on stage when she was still a little girl.
She is charming, and a great steel guitar player.
We had a seminar from her with the song City Lights as a lead.
I bought some of het backing tracks and TAB, but Lost Horizons is still missing in my collection.
I hope she comes back to Holland soon so I can enjoy her beautiful playing on stage.

For the TAB my email is:

Lost Horizon tab by Sara Jory

Post by Dick Chapple Sr »

Hi John:
I have been a fan of Sara for many years. She plays with emotion, so so good!!!! I have a lot of her videos and music. I too hope with all that is going on that she and her husband are doing as well as they can, my prayers will include them. Watching her play this song is wonderful.

I sure would appreciate her tab as well.
