Mullen Discovery vs Justice S-10 Jr.
I am looking to purchase my first pedal steel guitar and have narrowed it down to either a Mullen or Justice. Since I have not had the fortune to try either, I was hoping for some opinions on the subject.

Hey Joseph, since you’re in Long Beach, it’s not too far to Oceanside. You might check in with Jim at Steel Guitars of North County and see if his inventory might help you decide. (760) 754-2120
MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Princeton 65W, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom.
I have a Justice S-10 Jr as well as SHO-BUD and EXCEL. It’s a very well made machine. You can get a very simple set up and add up to 5 knee levers and 4 pedals so you can advance gradually in payout and in knowledge. I think that’s an important factor. It’s as well engineered and machined as a pro guitar, unlike many previous starter type steels.
