Thanks all, much appreciated! As far as the recording setup, it's about as simple as it gets. I record the steel direct, no mic. I make the backing tracks using BIAB for bass and drums only. Then I add a couple of live guitar tracks and lastly the steel guitar (as I video record it). Then I sync the audio to the video in iMovie.
