This is a killer guitar. It used to belong to Junior Knight. He used it on a few tracks on his last CD. I do not know which tracks, you would need to ask him. It is in overall very good condition. Plays like butter and stays in tune. I put an E66 in the guitar because of my own personal preferences but it will be sold with what I believe to be an LXR-16 pickup that was in it when junior had it. Maybe if Junior sees this post he could confirm this is an LXR- 16. It could also be a 710. 4 pedals and 5 knees.

Emmons setup. ( 0, A, B, C )
Es lower on RKL.
Es raise on LKL
1st and 2nd string are raised on LKR
2nd and 9th string lowered on RKR
Pedal 1 is 0 and is the Franklin change.
Vertical lowers 6

It's pretty easy to change the setup over from Day to Emmons.

Thanks so much for confirming the pickup that will be in the guitar when sold is an
XR-16!

All emails/ PMs have been responded to. I have had interest from a few folks already about coming and getting the guitar in person. And yes it would be quite simple to swap the knee levers in this guitar.

Mostly still Emmons? I'm really looking at this guitar but I don't have much luck swapping pedals and knee levers. I get that the 0-pedal is the franklin, but are 1, 2 & 3 still ABC Emmons? I wish I knew the complete copedant of the guitar.

this is actualy a good setup, i know lynn owsley uses it, also it might be different now but i believe mike johnson changed to it. i think it is called the nashville setup. i have considered changing to it, but i have too many guitars to change....thanks jack

I just want to clarify that this guitar IS Emmons setup in the terms we use it today meaning that the pedals are ABC. Of course if you are talking about Buddy's exact setup than it is slightly different however I don't know anyone in town who does have Buddy's exact setup and those of us who have the pedals setup in the order of ABC call this an Emmons setup.
