I found a cool spot to sub a 6 minor Chris.
Go back two frets from the open one position and with pedal 7 down swipe 6,5,4,3.
Sounds pretty neat |

Another one I learned from 6 string cats is when you are in a 2 minor, instead of going to the 5 7th, go from 2 minor to a 2b minor than resolve to the one chord. Going back chromatically, I noticed Tommy and Paul do these lines once I learned and became aware of them. |

Very similar to Quentin's min7, go back 2 from open position, lower string 5 a whole step, move back 1 fret, P5, then resolve to the open 1 fret higher. On the 2nd chord, a V7#5b9, you can also lower the A string for a V7#5, if you prefer _________________ Christopher Woitach

See if I have this right: Assuming this is C6 tuning, you would be resolving to F major at fret 5 via C7+5-9 at fret 4 with pedal 5. For the II are you starting at fret 3 ("go back 2 from open position") or fret 5 (implied by "move back 1 fret, P5" to get to C7+5-9). Seems to me like II is on fret 5 with the fifth string lowered a whole step. I also like to get the C7+5-9 at the same fret as the II, by keeping the fifth string lowered a whole step, and lowering the third and fourth strings a half step each (which in the Maurice Anderson's Bb6 setup could be done with left knee vertical and pedal 3 - I have a slightly different configuration now, but can get the same notes), which provides the root of the chord on top if you are playing Bb6 or have a high G open string on C6. |

Making that 2b a dominant chord sounds even hipper. |

If in F, and in C6
Fret 5 lower G string to F (makes a Gm9, 2 down from open position of G)

My favorite V-I chordal lick:
(Assuming C6 standard set up - Bb6 is 2 strings lower and 2 frets higher....)
4 up from open position, P5 with 3rd lowered 1/2 step
Strings 3,5,7 together, then pick string 4
Go down 3 frets and do the same thing
Resolve down one fret to Maj7, Root on 9th string
If in key of C, playing from G7 to CMaj7:
Fret 11 (G7#9), then fret 8 (E7#9, which acts like G7b9 here), resolve on fret 7, CMa7
If you like, you can continue down or up 3 frets as these chords relate to each other that way - similar to diminished chords, but not an exact inversion like dim7 chords (P5,6) are _________________ Christopher Woitach

Slide up 3 frets, 3rd still lowered, P6, strings 9-3
Down 1 fret, pedals off, strings 9-3, resolving Maj7
In C6, key of C:

Fret 8 (Db7b5)
