Man! I just loved the way Bobbe Seymour played his Bigsby guitars. I'm glad I told him that while he was still here. So lush and beautiful. It just flat out smokes the sounds that many chord melody jazz guitarists make.

Thanks for posting that Andy. Sometimes people should be reminded that he was, first and foremost, a steel guitarist, and not just a tradesman.
Notice that he plays without finger picks, only a thumbpick, and I believe that that contributed to his mellow sound. Notice also that he doesn't do a lot of bar movement; he plays mainly with his feet.
