"Tautology" comes from the Greek "taut" meaning "the same". When two arguments or statements say the same thing in different words they are "tautological". So "tautological" can only refer to something else, after all, it's an adjective, whereas "nothing" is a noun. "Nothing" is tautological with "nullity", but it's not tautological with "tautological." $:\$

Have you counted how many of the 181818 posts are from each person? I get the impression that there are about five of us who represent almost all of those posts, with just a smattering of other people, who wonder what the hell we're spending all this time on NOTHING for.
