Chris is correct...it is Iron Maiden. The correct song title is "When The Wild Wind Blows". It is on YouTube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHg9PJc1Nds. I do not know who the steel player is....Gary Carter maybe.

I stumbled onto this song in SoundCloud and now I've seen this thread. What an absolutely delightful song. I hear so many wonderful things and flavorings in this song that are so familiar. But, if I were to make a guess on who it is, it puts me in mind of Jean Yves Lozach from France.

I got it!:D I remind that I found this song in a website of a french country singer. After visiting many french country music websites I discovered that it is a piece of Alan Nash's CD http://www.nash83.com/.
The title is "no heroes left in town" and the author is Alan Nash himself. He recorded it in 2008 at the Tommy Detamore's studio in Floresville, (before it burned). The steeler who plays is Ricky Davis.
Fun, Alain Pioz (alias Alan Nash) lives 20 miles from home, in the south of France! The world is really small! Many thanks for your help and all your posts!
THank You B0b, you are a great man!
