You may actually want to disallow this because of the promotional issues raised below. Your call. As many of you know, I've recently devoted a good bit of my energy to advocating the promotion and development of the PSG. While I have been busy studying and presenting tuning concepts, structural opinion, musical expansion, playing techniques, and just the general state of our instrument within the music world I have discovered a need for more information.
I walk on the edge here of possibly offending people but I have realized in my career that sometimes being challenged is exactly what is needed. Plus, I also am aware that my analysis is possibly incomplete and I only need to be pointed in the right direction to affirm that these concerns are either merited or unfounded.
Simply put, I'm ASKING for your help. I have cruised through website after website that is related to the steel guitar. Much of this pursuit is because I'm launching my own website and certainly my successful launch is dependent upon what already is in existence around my subject matter.
With one exception (the one you are now logged into), I've not found a lot of great websites.
Please point out to me every website you can that promotes any aspect of the steel guitar. Above I yield to bOb to close this topic if he must but my hope is that we might be able to accent some of those that are doing this very basic marketing tool with excellence.
