Bobbe talks in his last newsletter about an album he did with both Chalker and Johnny Sibert played on. Anyone know what album that was?

Tore: I think the album Bobbe may have been talking about was the Carl Smith Anniversary Album 20 Years of Hits.

Look at those pictures. Look at the outfits. When these people hit the stage you KNEW they were stars. No doubt about it. They didn't come on stage looking like they just crawled out of a dumpster after an eight day drunk with a dirty sleevless shirt and torn jeans. Where did the pride go? Where did the talent go? When these guys sang on the radio you knew the minute they opened their mouths who they were. I can't recognize half the so-called country singers on the air today. They all sound alike except Jones, Haggard, Jackson, and Strait, and even they aren't played that often unless you listen to a "special" oldies station.

THIS WHOLE CLIP DESERVES TO BE REPEATED !!!! Well put ! I get so tired of seeing so-called 'talent' in sleeveless shirts, ripped jeans, etc.

Years ago we, as entertainers were advised to dress properly whenever appearing on TV as we would be 'visiting' folks in their living rooms, therefore we should be attired accordingly.

Times and attitudes have sure changed !
