The band says they want a pedal steel, but they really don’t

Bravo Craig! Obviously these guys didin't realize that you could have easily played all of the guitar parts as well as the pedal steel and lap/slide steel parts! They should have canned the guitar player and offered you double pay to try to keep you. But here again, it's hard to have any enthusiasm sitting in a bar room all night playing stuff you really don't like, and all for the sake of six bucks and a pack of Lucky Strike!
