I think they were called the Country All Stars back then: Jerry, Chet and Homer. I always liked their version of Darkness On The Delta from one of that series of albums.

...and Paul is right. It's the "Country All Stars" with a track that was recorded at the RCA studio in New York(!) in 1953. Chet Atkins on Lead Guitar, Jerry Byrd on Steel, Henry "Homer" Haynes on Guitar, Kenneth "Jethro" Burns on Mandolin and Charles B. Greane on Bass.
Actually, Walter, I did get it wrong on the mandolin part!! Trouble is, I have been laughing at those two guys (Homer and Jethro...) for so many years, I still confuse them in my own mind ! I was saying that Homer played the lead part on mandolin and that was, of course, Jethro. Sorry...
