Unreleased Trio Tracks

Post by b0b »

We spent about 2 years recording this album, but sort of broke up before doing the last step of releasing it on CD. Thought you all might enjoy a listen...

DO ALL YOU CAN
WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
IN THE PLACE YOU ARE
WITH THE TIME THAT'S LEFT

What a verse. Wow.
My favorite one-The Courtship, by B0B.

On Sacred Ground. I knew B0B wrote that as soon as I looked at the works and before I confirmed it at the top. Great song.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

On Sacred Ground was written when my nephew was serving in Iraq. His dad served in Vietnam. That's the basic story behind it. John Reese did a great job on the vocal, in my opinion.

The Courtship was originally written for the F Diatonic pedal steel. I played the trio version on marimba. Here's the original steel version, with Fred Campbell on bass:

Great steel is a given with you, Bob. I really enjoyed the marimba! Very refreshing.
