I tempted to say 'Red River Valley' but I know you better than that! :)

Some of it sounded like "You Are My Sunshine", but like Jimbeaux I doubt if it would be anything that simple :)

Beautiful playing as usual, Susan.

Thanks, Jim and Jim. No, it's not Red River Valley or You Are My Sunshine. It's amazing though, how many songs are similar to each other.

Second song on Victor Jara's album "El arado"(had to search my data base for a long time)is "El cigarrito"(The cigarette butt).I don't know if you used that album for your rendition though.

Well, it's a piece of music that was popular in Chile until September 11, 1973.

I want to say Charlie Haden's 'Song For Che' except that A) it's historically irrelevant to the US assassination of Allende and B), well, I'm not hearing that composition (which I love messing with).

"Ojala" is a beautiful song, but that's not it and, unfortunately, neither is "Song for Che". You are, however, getting closer.
