I tempted to say 'Red River Valley' but I know you better than that!

Some of it sounded like "You Are My Sunshine", but like Jimbeaux I doubt if it would be anything that simple
Beautiful playing as usual, Susan.

Thanks, Jim and Jim. No, it's not Red River Valley or You Are My Sunshine . It's amazing though, how many songs are similar to each other.

Second song on Victor Jara's album "El arado"(had to search my data base for a long time)is "El cigarrito"(The cigarette butt).I don't know if you used that album for your rendition though.

Ojalá is a song that was very popular in that time.

I want to say Charlie Haden's 'Song For Che' except that A) it's historically irrelevant to the US assassination of Allende and B), well, I'm not hearing that composition (which I love messing with).

"Ojala" is a beautiful song, but that's not it and, unfortunately, neither is "Song for Che". You are, however, getting closer.
